Borley will apparently sell anything at a profit and Beaton should approach him himself. He should get someone to look at the house with him, especially the roof. Will Beaton write to Borley and ask if there is any chance he will part with Ashcombe? He should say he is a very quiet, retiring gentleman. Perhaps Borley would like a house of ill fame.
Autograph letter signed to Beaton.
