Martin Selker asked her to get in touch with Beaton to obtain the photo of her for Huebsch of New York, her American publisher. Hopes Beaton doesn't mind. She has enclosed two which she likes. The book is selling steadily but slowly. This "surprises and disappoints". Was proud to see herself on a list of distinguished authors. Asks Beaton if he went to Elinor's on Monday night. There were some "alarmingly stormy moments".
Autograph letter signed to Beaton.
