Letters between Benjamin Britten and Boosey and Hawkes covering the dates 1934-1976. These include letters from Leslie Boosey, Ralph Hawkes, Eric Roth, John Andrewes and other associates from the company. Letters from Britten are either from himself or his secretaries.

These letters broadly cover subjects such as publishing scores, granting permission for performances, music royalty statements, recordings by Decca and other companies, and translations of operas.

Two supplementary boxes addressed To Britten have not been added to CALM.
