- The archive is open to the general public. It is recommended that people wanting to carry out research should contact the Archive in advance, preferably by e-mail to archive@brittenpearsarts.org. (It is useful to include a brief description of your intended research, along with details of the material you would like to see on your visit, with reference codes from the catalogues where possible. Further material may be requested during your visit.) The archive is also open to all visitors to the Red House, Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears' home, during the historic house's normal opening hours (see website for details).
