Includes a manuscript draft telegram message in Britten's hand and a telegram.

Includes correspondence concerning Fanfare for Oriana.

Britten and Anderson had mutual friends in John and Myfanwy Piper, and Prince Ludwig and Princess Margaret of Hesse and the Rhine – Peg and Lu – referred to as ‘Lupeg’ in Anderson’s letters. The Princess of Hesse was a cousin of Colin Anderson's.

Includes postcard of the Oriana, Salmon postcard series, early 1960s, purchased by the Britten-Pears Foundation.
