The Medical Students' Representative Council represented academic and social interests of the University's medical students. The Council published the Manchester University Medical School Gazette. Most of the file concerns routine social events of the Council, but there is also a copy of a paper by the MSRC on "the private practice of medicine on the University campus" prepared for the University Council, and dated May 1974, and a discussion of insufficiency of the MSRC's capitation fees in the mid-1970s.
