Yeng Ang studied medicine at Trinity College, Dublin, raduating in 1992. He has been a consultant gastroenterologist and physician at the Leigh, Wigan and Wrightington Hospitals, and the Salford Royal Trust. Ang is a honorary professor of medicine at the University of Manchester. he is known for his work ongastro-oesophageal reflux diseaseand upper gastro-intestinal cancers.
