Graham Bryce was house surgeon at St George's Hospital and Blackburn Royal Infirmary before holding positions as house surgeon and resident medical officer at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. Graham Bryce was later resident surgical officer at MRI and honorary assistant surgeon at Salford Royal Hospital. He then held appointments as surgeon at MRI and Park Hospital Davyhulme and consultant thoracic surgeon at Manchester City, Crossley, Hefferston Grange and Barrowmore Hall Sanatoria. Graham Bryce was an honorary lecturer in clinical surgery at the University of Manchester. He was a fellow of the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons of Great Britain and Manchester Medical Society .
