BA Camb 1893, MA MB BCh 1900; MRCS LRCP 1897.

Cooper studied at Cambridge University and Owens College Manchester and was house physician at MRI and St Mary's Hospital Manchester. He was a general practitioner in Altrincham and also held positions as public vaccinator for Altrincham District, assistant county director for the Cheshire British Red Cross Society, certifying factory surgeon, and medical referee for war pensions. Harry Cooper was a member of Manchester Medical Society . He died on 16 August 1940.
