Letter from Walter T. Ogilvy [Walter Tulliedeph Ogilvy] to William Robinson

Scope and Content

Written from Springfield, Dollar, [Clackmannanshire] Scotland. Manuscript

He appreciated Robinson's remarks on the present government in 'Gardening Illustrated' as they reflect his own; he fears the apathy of most people will encourage politicians to continue their disastrous course, with fatal results; he thanks Robinson for his stand against the Insurance Act

Robinson has annotated the letter, 'Please say if he is a known person. W.R.' A further annotation reads, 'Unable to trace the name in any book I have. Not in Who's Who. W.P.J.'

[Walter Ogilvy lived in Dollar, and was the author of two books on stamp collecting]
