On returning from Geneva, where he received a degree from the university, he found Robinson’s volume; it was kind of him and he will value it greatly; he has been on the point of coming ‘to study your floral poetry’ for the past month but has been delayed; he hopes to come next week with his 48 year old ‘Italian Alps’; it was sold as a remainder 40 years ago and is quite scarce now; it was warmer abroad but the alpine flora was still under snow
