She has a pair of palms, ‘Chamaerops excelsia’ [sic] [now Rhapsis excelsa] which have outgrown their conservatory and she wonders if among Robinson’s correspondents there would be anyone who would like to exchange them for a pair of smaller palms; she would give them to anyone who would move them and moving would not be difficult as they were rooted in wooden boxes which have fallen apart; they are about 20 feet high and would make a handsome pair in a more spacious setting
