Scope and Content

Written from Hotel de la Grande Bretagne, Athens, [Greece]. Manuscript

She has had many engagements; the King said he would be glad for Robinson to see his garden; Robinson could gain access at the gate at 10am when they are mounting the guard; Miss Tricoupis said that Mrs Robb was going to take Robinson to see her; she asks what he thinks of Athens; it is dusty but the Acropolis on Saturday evening was beautiful; some of the residents have invited them to a picnic at Daphne tomorrow, and they leave on Wednesday; she would like to see Gravetye one day

Dated 16 Mar, no year [Robinson visited Athens in spring 1891]
