Letter from Pia Richards [to William Robinson]

Scope and Content

Written from 45 Addison Road, [London] W14. Manuscript

She thanks Robinson for his sympathetic letter; one of the last things her father [Maurice Hewlett] thought of was planting the little roots, and although desperately ill he gave them exact directions as to where and how to plant them, and examined the roots with interest; when they come up next year they will be a sad and dear reminder of his last days; she would like to come and see his flowers one day; they often motor through his area

Dated 21 Jun, no year [1923; Maurice Hewlett died on 15 Jun 1923]
