Mr Cavendish writes concerning a meeting at Derby to form the Association under the Territorial Forces Bill. He also writes that he has corresponded with Albert Baillie in relation to the living of Edensor but regrets that "he cannot accept it". He also writes to ask SCC whether he is aware of anyone "except Beresford" who may be suitable for it. He finally writes of grouse shooting and that "W. got 53 braces".
