SCC writes to his father to inform him that he will be writting to William Currey and after talking about the petition with "Cottingham" and [Lord George] he thinks it is good that he does not attend the meeting. He reports that "Jackson" should withdraw of his own accord. He informs his father that Granville Leveson-Gower, 2nd Earl Granville's dinner will be in uniform.
