Letter from Spencer Compton Cavendish to Lady Louisa Cavendish

Scope and Content

SCC writes to his sister that the school is "tolerably" nice. He is close to a river but does not know if he will be able to fish there. He writes that Mr C. has gotten hold of an "Indian rubber boat" but he feels they may drown themselves. He comments that Mrs C. seems a "pretty nice description of a female". He signs off the letter in a hurry. Sent from: Axminster [School], date stamped 17 May.
