SCC writes to Colvile to discuss election matters. He writes that he has discussed the matter with his father, "Brand" and "L. E. Coke" who say that they will give Colville their "hearty support" once it is assured that [William] Evan's seat is safe. However, he reports that Colvile does not have the support of the landowners. Nevertheless, SCC writes that he is confident of Colvile's success and he has the support of the Liberal party. Sent from: House of Commons, date stamped, 8 May.
