Granville writes to SCC regarding Egypt. He writes that he is enclosing CS8/1244 which is a letter from William Ewart Gladstone. He reports that Gladstone believes a Cabinet is not required and the French have asked the Turks to send a ship. Sent from: London, date stamped, [30] May.
