SCC writes to his father that he has put off his departure to Paris. He writes that Stevenson is returning two horses that were to be sold. He reports that the Preston Radical Paper have mentioned him as if they do not think much of him and he thinks the radicals will put up a man at the next election. He writes that he things the Liberal registration are "out and out radicals" and anything subscribed to them will be used against him at the next election.
