Scope and Content

Ponsonby writes to SCC regarding the provision for Princess Helen, Duchess of Albany and her children after the death of her husband Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany. He writes that the Duchess will have £6000 per year and Queen Victoria will make a provision but requests that further provisions can be made. Sent from: Darmstadt, date stamped, 19 April.
