Sir John writes to SCC to request his involvement in the Royal Commission into the constitution and practice of army court martials and the present system of military punishment. He writes that he is also asking Jonathan Peel, Rupert [Surwey], "[Headham] and "Mowbray" to act. He reports that he is also asking Prince George, Duke of Cambridge, Samuel Scarlett and "Horsford."
