Sir Kay-Shuttleworth writes referring to an earlier letter sent to Lord Grosvenor of 6 January. He writes calling attention to the "stedfastness with which Radical newspapers in Lancashire are writing against the policy of concessions in the direction of granting an Irish Parliament". He further writes concerning The Manchester Examiner, SCC's letter to his Election Chairman and the views of "two leading active workers in different parts of my division" who are "familiar with the opinions of the rank and file of the party". Sent from: 28 Princes Gardens, London. Enclosure to CS8/1891.
