SCC writes to his sister to inform her that he is revising for his examinations but worries he will not get a first and that he is not reading enough. He also writes that his health is much improved but he will be "an emaciated skeleton" due to stress caused by the examinations. Sent from Trinity College, Cambridge, date stamped 31 May. The enclosure is the Trinity College Examination results for Easter Term, 1852 showing SCC achieved second class.
