Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter informing Rigby that Owen’s daughter, Mrs Fauntleroy, and his four grandchildren have been with him since Monday. Owen says they shall be leaving for London on the next Monday and asks Rigby to meet them. Owen says he would like the first volume of My Life to be ready for them to take with them.

Owen goes on to ask Rigby to take the enclosed and obtain the petition to the lords which he sent to Lord Balfour. Owen says he must consider to whom he shall intrust it Lord Monteagle or Albermarle.
