Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Manuscript letter informing Rigby that he has enclosed two letters to go to The Earl of Clarendon and Lord Palmerston with the two petitions which Rigby has retrieved from the Archbishop of Canterbury and Lord John Russell. Owen says he intends to bother the government to attend to him and make preparations for a great public meeting.

Owen goes on to ask Rigby to collect a parcel for him from Mr Cox’s [Hotel]. Owen ends the letter by commenting on the weather.
