Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter informing Rigby that he received his letter and also a letter from Adaptability[?] who's name Owen has trouble working out. Owen then gives instructions for sending a packet to his friend Sir John Bowring in Hong Kong.

Owen goes on to say he has only received one letter from the press and this was only from the Morning Post to say they could not help. Owen goes on to write about a paper he has contributed to which he will widely circulate. Owen concludes by passing on regards from Mr and Mrs Twort.
