Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Manuscript letter informing Rigby that he has received good reports on the Congress in the Investigator and the Peoples Paper.

Owen goes on to say that he has broke the glass covering myself [this could be the glass covering a photograph or picture of himself]. Owen gives details of how this accident happened and asks Rigby to take it Mr Claudet [the photographer] to fit a new one.

Owen asks Rigby to call on Col[onel] Brand and Bayswater to see if he has found the work on Owen’s visit to Mexico.
