Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter informing Rigby that the gift that Rigby has given to the [House of] Lords and Commons will do the work he intended before the meeting of Congress in May. He says that his object in calling the congress is to a great extent already secured.

Owen goes on to ask Rigby if he knows where he put the letters he received from the Duke of Kent.

Owen spends the remainder of the letter giving Rigby instructions for the delivery of his New Year’s Gifts to the House of Commons and Lords and the Senators of all the states and territories.
