The bundle comprises a diazo copy of counsel's opinion in the matter of the Mayor's Land Charity in Altrincham. Counsel's opinion was that the Corporation of Altrincham was dissolved by the Municipal Corporations Act 1883, and thus the mayor's charity lands and income therefrom became applicable for the public benefit of the inhabitants.
