The series contains: a note of the distance from the door of Dunham Massey Hall to the Lodge, c.1800 (EGR14/79/1); a bundle of legal papers concerning the exemption of demesne lands from church rates, 1833 (EGR14/79/2); a register of trespasses on the Cheshire Estates, 1840-1860 (EGR14/79/3); a copy of the Warrington and Altrincham Junction Railway Act, 1851 (EGR14/79/4); two architectural designs books, 1853 and 1869 (EGR14/79/5-6); two copies of an Ordnance Survey book of reference for Bowdon parish (EGR14/79/7-8); notes for the letting of Dunham Massey Hall, c.1876-1880 (EGR14/79/9); a copy of the Board of Trade Altrincham and Bowdon Electric Lighting Order, 1893 (EGR14/79/10); a note of the numbers of deer in Dunham Old Park, 1894 (EGR14/79/11); a rack-rents apportionments book for the Cheshire Estates, 1901-1934 (EGR14/79/12); a bundle of papers concerning the 9th Earl of Stamford's subscriptions to local charities and societies, 1905-1908 (EGR14/79/13); a bundle of miscellaneous agreements over shooting rights, advertising hoardings and a gift of land, 1909-1926 (EGR14/79/14); a bundle of papers relating to a luncheon held for members of Altrincham court leet, 1920 (EGR14/79/15); printed particulars and conditions for the sale of portions of the Bradgate Estate, 1921 (EGR14/79/16); and a bundle of deeds of covenant for the payment of annuities by the 10th Earl of Stamford, 1939 and 1949 (EGR14/79/17).
