Midwifery certificates of Francis Turpin

Scope and Content

Printed certificate to practice as a midwife awarded to Francis Turpin by the Central Midwives Board (14 April 1923), together with a printed notice (4 May 1923), relating to the rules of the CMB. Also accompanied by a further printed certificate awarded to her for completing four months of training at the Queen Charlotte Lying-In Hospital (15 December 1922).

Frances Turpin (fl. 1910-1930) was a midwife who gained her certificate to practice from the Central Midwives Board in 1923.
