Newspaper cuttings and pamphlets on child health

Scope and Content

Bundle of printed newspaper cuttings from the Nursing Times, together with advice pamphlets, possibly collected for references purposes by the City of York Children's Department (May 1948-22 October 1954), relating to parenting and child health, with particular references to the sterilisation of babies feedings bottles, the management of children's homes and residential nurseries, eczema in infancy, physiological childbirth and adoption.
