Scope and Content

Ms register of cases of an unidentified midwife, possibly a Mrs Roddrey of Liverpool or Manchester (16 November 1817-28 July 1840), listing the names and address of women that he or she attended in childbirth, as well as the date of confinement, the sex of the infant, if the delivery took place in hospital or at home and whether payment was received.
