Case books and photographs relating to Dorothy Blackhurst's training as a midwife in Liverpool (1944-1945) and service as midwife in North Wales (October 1945 - April 1946) and Liverpool (May 1946 - June 1960), including her case book submitted for the Central Midwives Board examination (September 1945), details of deliveries including mother's names, addresses, outcome of births, and pain relief administered, and photographs of her with other nurses or midwives, and child patients, some taken at Cleaver Hospital, Liverpool (1933-1935).
