Roger Kenrick to Sir John Trevor (Cannon Row. Westminster): has received 2 bags of seeds weighing 200lbs, the cost of carriage being 18s.4d.; has an offer of £20 free of all taxes except hearth tax for Pen yr Allt Goch and the tenant to repair it; also needs directions about Plas Evan 'which is gone to decay very much. I can get no tenant that will take it as it is and truly it is but slender building and cannot stand long without some repair'; Mr Peck has a query about whether any chief rent is due on the mills separately from the manor of Burton.
