Roger Kenrick to Sir John Trevor (Cannon Row, Westminster): did not know Edward John David's son was going to see recipient about continuing his tenant but warns against believing all he says about the payment of his debts; the widow that holds Pen yr Allt Goch and another holding is complaining of her high rent and is worried about getting further into debt as she now has no help and asks to be allowed taxes; has let Plas Teg park to be sown in two halves to the neighbouring tenants; 'we have great abuse to keep letters from Monday till Wednesday before I have them now of late'; corn is very cheap but cattle are selling well though most had sold what they had and not bred any new stock for the last 2 years so land is cheap as there are no cattle to graze it and 'many dairymen are broken and gone very poor'.
