Letter from William Pare to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter, William Pare tells Robert Owen about his family, specifically Charlotte's visit to Paris. He also mentions a problem being caused by Mrs Hennel's child and the involvement of the Bigden family in the situation. Pare asks Owen if he heard the debate in the House of Commons on Tuesday regarding the dwellings of the poor, or if he read the report in the Times the following day. Pare remarks that it is good to see the opinions Owen has held for many years receiving attention at a high level.
