Letter from William Pare to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter, William Pare tells Robert Owen that he regrets that Brougham's parliamentary speech in favor of Owen's petition was not better reported in the press. Pare believes it is likely he will be in London before Parliament reconvenes because he is to give evidence before the House of Commons Committee on the Income Tax.
