In this manuscript letter, William Pare complains about the clerygman John Brindley who attempted to entice him into public debate on the topic of "the truth of Miracles". Pare refused to "enter into any such useless dispute". He urges Robert Owen to accompany him to the last lecture where he can hopefully have the attention of a large audience. He wishes him to come on the way to Sheffield, where Owen will be opening the new Institution there.
