Letter from William Pare to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Pare asks does Owen intend addressing a "friendly muniton" to the new Emperor of Russia with him being, as he is, the nephew of his namesake (Nicholas) who visited Owen at New Lanark. He also laments it is a pity that Nicholas [I] died without "trying how far he could adopt the sound advice" Owen had given him.
