Dover military hospital

Scope and Content

Bundle of b/w photographs of the hospital built into the white cliffs of Dover in the second world war, administered by Walsh as senior medical officer for the RAMC in the area. There is a copy of Journal of the Royal Army Medical Corps, September 1942, which includes an article by Walsh titled 'Spray-proof field cookhouse'.

The bundle was presented to JRUL by Walsh's daughter in June 1988. There are 38 b/w photographs, including a portrait of Walsh, and many photographs of the interior and exterior of the hospital.
