LSA 1829; MD Padua 1845.

Edmund Taylor was a medical pupil at MRI in 1827 and qualified LSA in 1829. He settled as a general practitioner in Middleton and was vaccinator to Oldham Union and registrar of births and deaths. In 1845, Taylor gained his MD at Padua. He died on 16 March 1878, aged 71. Taylor was probably not related to the Taylors of Whitworth or Oldfield Lane.
