Scope and Content

Duplicated copy of a typed letter to on NUWSS headed paper. Condemns the violent scenes of 21 and 29 Nov. Exhorts suffragists in the Cabinet to adopt the approach used over the recent unrest in India - where much worse violence had been seen than in suffrage demonstrations. Advocates the removal of the causes of the unrest. Urges that any amendment must be such as to unite all suffragists, and that it should be widely publicised. Says that this will ensure that public opinion will go against the militants. The NUWSS will meet and decide its course of action the following Friday
