With Joan White, actress. Letters, circulars and telegrams relating to: a request for a role in 1945; her visit to see Much Ado About Nothing at the Aldwych in 1946, where she was refused entry to RD's dressing room; the strain between them during the filming of The Cure for Love; an invitation to The Young May Moon by the Repertory Players at the Piccadilly Theatre in June 1937; a comedy she has planned which she would like RD to act in; RD's appearance in Murder in the Cathedral in 1953; the establishment of the Birmingham Repertory Theatre Association in 1953, and the appointment of the Donats as Vice Presidents; an alteration in the scheme following Barry Jackson's disapproval; and its ultimate winding up.
