Photocopies of two letters from King Vidor (1894-1982), film director, the originals of which date from 8 May-20 June 1947. These principally relate to the script of a planned film, The Far Horizon, which RD is impressed with. Vidor discusses the story and the lead character Jim Moorehead, and possible shooting is scheduled for spring or summer 1948. In /2 he also refers to negotiations for a film of Precious Bane.
