With Eileen Beldon, actress, relating to: Andrew Leigh's play The Empress Maud which Beldon recommends as a possibility for the Westminster Theatre in 1944; RD's search for a retreat in Somerset in 1945; their respective work, including a matine in which she has been involved in 1950 attended by the Queen; RD's success in getting the role of Friese-Green [in The Magic Box] in 1950; and his return to the stage in March 1953 [in Murder in the Cathedral]. /1 includes a press cutting.
