Many of these are anonymous, while others are identified within as being by John Blow (1649-1708), Jeremiah Clarke (c. 1669-1707), Arcangelo Corelli (1653-1713), Raphael Courteville (fl. 1687-1735), Giovanni Battista Draghi (c. 1640-1708), Robert King (fl. 1676-1728), and Henry Purcell (1659-1695). No title-page. Casing: leather with gold tooling, Dutch Marble end paper. 6-stave MS paper. In several hands. Inscribed "Herbert Mackworth" on the front endpaper. Foliation added for cataloguing. Volume reverses from f. 32r. Three folios torn out between ff. 31 and 32. These bass lines are generally not figured.
