Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter informing Rigby that he received his letter. Owen asks Rigby to subscribe him for 3 copies of a newspaper but only for 6 months because he is too poor and too old. He also asks Rigby to pay the rent for him.

Owen goes on to say that he received an imperfect copy of No. 8 [of New Existence?]and sent it back with corrections and the addition of a notice of a meeting at St Martins Hall on 14t May.

Owen gives Rigby detailed instructions for where he wants copies of his works sending.
