Letter form Robert Owen to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter which Owen begins by expressing his pleasant suprise at the extracts from the Mormon book which Rigby sent him.

Owen goes on to note that [Dr H F]Gardner is doing great good for the Spiritualist cause. Owen also notes Dr Travis is soon to return from the North.

Owen complains that he has not received several publications and requests Rigby goes to see Mr Clayton about this. Owen goes on to say that part 7 [of the New Existence] will require an extended circulation. He concludes the letter by reflecting on various papers he has recently read.
